Likely Japanese Blue-Ground Floral Lobed Porcelain Kobachi

THB 99

A small glossy white porcelain kobachi with a softly lobed rim and faceted exterior. The well is filled with a deep cobalt-blue floral-vine design, with pale blossoms and green scrolling stems. A blue square seal mark is painted beneath the recessed foot but is presently unreadable. The form, white porcelain body, and tableware finish suggest a modern Japanese product, possibly in an Arita/Hasami-related tradition, rather than an antique attribution; this should be treated as a cautious working identification only.
